Maj. Gen. Chris Donahue, commander of the 82nd Airborne Division, was the last to board the final flight out of the Kabul airport Monday.
And thank you General Donahue, and everyone who enlisted for this out of a sense of patriotism.

But to hell with the leaders and military-industrial complex who continued the mayhem. For 20 years.

After Bin Laden was driven out of Afghanistan no one had the courage to end the needless war.

How much did America spend in Afghanistan you ask...

"In the 20 years since September 11, 2001, the United States has spent more than $2 trillion on the war in Afghanistan. That's $300 million dollars per day, every day, for two decades. Or $50,000 for each of Afghanistan's 40 million people."

In 2018, you had 144.3 million taxpayers so that works out to ~$760 per year per taxpayer at the present.

But..."More than 100 million U.S. households, or 61% of all taxpayers, paid no federal income taxes last year, according to a report from the Tax Policy Center."

So that means the share of every current US taxpayer who actually paid federal taxes was ~$1945.

All those who feel Biden shouldn't have pulled the US out of Afghanistan should think about that...
