The VA republican's ran on every day social issues. Imagine that.
Schooling,
Taxes,
Economics.
Either party had that opportunity to craft the winning message. The Republicans, especially the governor-elect, did so perfectly hitting all the right notes with the suburban crowds that carried him.
It was there for the taking. Oh, and most of the newly elected top leadership are not carrying or cratering to the political baggage of the past! Another wise campaign move.

Virginia, New Jersey, Minneapolis, Texas, etc. elections / referendums .. were clearly an "unmistakable repudiation of the Democratic Party" the Biden agenda, and defunding police.
You just keep thinking that way. The Biden "agenda" as you listed..is fear strategy from the extreme right wing.
Like I said, VA, more social home based issues than you can imagine. If anything related to the Biden "agenda" it was lack of action on it, in parts.
