GAYtor .. has no clue how our electricity system works in Texas but ... does that stop him from posting? Not a chance ..

Some Facts .. GAYtor could have easily researched and not made himself look so STOOPID ...



1. ERCOT (Electricity Reliability Council OF Texas ) Management reports to the ERCOT Board and ultimately to the Texas PUC (Public Utilities Commission) Board and not .. to the the Governor.

2. During the highly abnormal low temperatures of the week of February 15, 2021 .. ERCOT made some egregious mistakes .. managing our power grid.

3. Due to low temperatures and snow .. the majority of our Solar Power Generation was .. off line.

4. Due to low temperatures, snow, and high winds .. the majority of our Wind Power Generation was .. off line.

5. That left fossil fuel power plants to pick up the slack from wind / solar with majority of that from clean natural gas fired generators.

6. Natural gas is produced across our state and is moved via pipelines and gas compression stations to our power plants.

7. ERCOT screwed up .. by ..among others failings .. letting the rolling blackouts effect power to the gas compression stations .. effectively shutting down .. too many gas fired power plants for long periods.

8. Bill Magness .. CEO of ERCOT was fired by the ERCOT Board, less than two weeks, after this painful debacle .. for gross incompetence. He did not report .. and was not fired by the Governor.

9. DeAnn Walker, chairwoman for the PUC, resigned the same week.

GAYtor lives .. to post anything he believes puts Texas .. in a bad light. This one .. like all the others .. BLEW UP IN HIS FACE .. Again...
